GIS InAction

The GIS InAction section of the GISource Library will focus on the variety of public sector GIS activities taking place in the State of Tennessee. There will be three areas of focus: Federal agencies, State agencies, and local governments which will include counties, municipalities, and regional governments.

Profiles will be featured on the GISource navigation area on a rotating basis. Archived profiles will be accessible from this area. Each profile will include:

  • An overview of the agency's mission and responsibilities
  • Highlights of the agency's internal and public GIS activities
  • A future developments section to inform users on how the agency plans to develop GIS
  • Links to on-line resources available to users
  • Contacts for finding out more information about an agency's GIS program

Bradley County GIS Department - The Bradley County GIS Department is responsible for implementing and managing GIS in various departments of the Bradley County local government.
